As an experienced iPhone
app developer, I can help
you get there.

Nikita Logachev

Computers and video games had me hooked around the time I was entering Middle School. Learning new software was easy for me, programming came naturally, figuring out how computers work and tweaking them was fun, video games were challenges that needed to be completed 100%, and I even joined a video game mod team when I was around 12 years old (does anyone remember Netstorm?!) although that did not get anywhere. In December 2007 I finally completed David Perry's game review challenge - to write 100 reviews from a designer's perspective. This gave me a lot of experience and ideas, as well as a foot in the door - so to speak.

At one point I told myself that I would invent the first truly 'intelligent' machine, and I can safely say that after studying Psychology for my Bachelors and Artificial Intelligence for my Postgraduate studies I am nowhere near achieving that goal... and not even motivated to do so anymore! :)

After a period of intense confusion about what I want to do in life, the idea of writing iPhone applications popped up. "Hey," I thought, "why not?" So here I am: I'm an "app-published" developer and steadily providing freelance services for clients who want iPhone applications created for them. The interesting thing is - this is turning out to be the work that I have so far put the most effort and enthusiasm into! So far so good! We'll see where it goes... already a lot of interesting developments... (no pun intended)

When I'm not programming or helping my friend with a start-up company I like to watch movies, read books (Paulo Coelho is among my favourite authors), or play video games. I used to play Ultimate Frisbee - seriously, look it up! Some time between December and January I'm usually snowboarding somewhere in Europe.
